Double Runner

A two player endless runner with a fast runner and a slow runner avoiding obstacles and sending them to the other.

This game was made for the Nokia 3310 Jam 5.

HOW 2 PLAY

The game is meant to be played by two players, one controlling the fast runner and the other controlling the slow runner.

The fast runner, as the name says, is faster than the other runner, but it jumps lower than the other runner.

The slow runner is slower (who would have known?!) but it jumps higher than the fast one.

Both runners can float in the air for a while before falling back if the jump key is held down.

Both runners can punch certain obstacles (the not filled square ones) to send faster obstacles to the other player.

The game ends when one of the players runs out of lives.

CONTROLS

Jump: W or Numpad 7 (Player 1), Up Key or Numpad 9 (Player 2).

Slide: S or Numpad 4 (Player 1), Down Key or Numpad 6 (Player 2).

"Punch" Obstacle: D or Numpad 1 (Player 1), Right Key or Numpad 3 (Player 2).

Pause: P or Numpad 0.
